I haven’t been writing in here for quite a while. People noticed and asked me about it. Some even commented my entries lately were very “advertorial” hmm. Something to think about.

Well it’s not that I didn’t want to write / there wasn’t any inspiration. There are! Loads, in fact. I just couldn’t find the time to sit down and compose a proper entry. Many times I felt like blabbing and pouring out all nonsense in words but I couldn’t because:

1. Like I said, I didn’t have the time.
2. My blog has gone somewhat public. I can no longer write freely, revealing my vulnerabilities and deep dark secrets to random strangers, can I?

Point number 2 is something I kind of regretted. It creates restrictions for me in the sense that I couldn’t do what I used to do anymore i.e. criticism, judgment on random stuff, hints/analogies on who I like and dislike, etc.

I’m already thinking of starting another (personal) blog lol!

Just realized I have a few posts due. More advertorial-like entries yay -_-" Then again, at least you readers get to read about new dining, chillaxing (I parrot this from someone) and party places :)

Erica, the reason I like to read ur blog is because ur blog is not tat "commercial" like others ppl...some ppl will just write the blog to show ppl how well he/she is, how good his/her life is but do not write anything like his/her emo part..this is what i feel a bit fake..Your blog make me feel like the real u, what u r really stay it can??if it become all those restaurant, event and etc but without ur personal life then...sobxx sobxx...ok..sorry...i think im a Stranger for u as well...jus a comment..hehe...hope not scare u...^_^

I agree with Shwu Fei. You could do it ala Kennysia.

Blogs will always be the kind of vehicle that crosses a fine line between personal and public limits - there would be no difference between a blog and advertorial space if there were no nuances of personal life in it!

Don't feel pressured to put on a show and be someone you're not :)

Writing for an audience is not easy and I think you're doing fine. Keep it up.
