Club Neverland

When Alex came home harping on how good the live band at Club Neverland was, I was skeptical. I admit I was being somehow judgmental. Live band with sexy Thai babes and dudes didn't give me a very "clean" impression.

After 2 visits, Alex dragged me to Club Neverland on a Saturday night despite me feeling a little woozy from a fever the day before. My very first impression was a plus, because the parking lot was just rightttt beside Club Neverland, unlike Zouk where we have to cross the busy roads in fitting dresses and high heels.

And my impression on Club Neverland just kept getting better, with impressive performances by the live band contributing most of it. The only downside of it is that they do not serve MOET champagne there so yea .. that part kinda sucked.

Nonetheless, I had a great time there! I took only several sips of Carlsberg from the countless of beer towers the boys ordered, and a shot of B52.

Jimmy :D

It was quite funny how the boys maintained their cool around the Thai babes while us girls - Angel, Denise and myself - were so starstruck by the good looking Thai boys. Angel was totally in love with Tony, I find Jimmy the prettiest Thai boy around while Denise wanted ALL OF THEM!!

Angel: I'm totally in love with Tony's dimples!! Sooo cuteee!
Denise: Me too me too! Come we share! I want all!!
ME: Cannottt! No sharing! I take Jimmy!

:D :D :D

And the boyfriends were just there, laughing at us jokers heheh.

Denise, Angel and myself, with Jimmy

The boys just went there on Monday night lol. I'm thinking of going there again this weekend! Join us, will you? :)

My PRADA, by

Whenever someone talks about branded goods – be it GUCCI, PRADA or BURBERRY – many will go “WOW you’re so rich!!”.

Little do they know the sacrifices made just to get them at a bargain price.

My first designer handbag – COACH, was signed, sealed and delivered all the way from the United States. Got it for almost half the price compared to the COACH retail outlets in Malaysia. I considered myself lucky as I suffered only minor impact from the exchange rates, full credits given to a friend who coincidently went over for job training.

I purchased my second designer item – a GUCCI 'Sukey' Medium Tote at Grand Lafayette, Paris during my Nov’10 Eurotrip. I literally snapped up the GUCCI tote the moment I knew how much it cost (in Euro), which shows just how much cheaper I got it for compared to the retail outlets in Malaysia :D

I’m au naturale in bargain hunting as I am aware of the pinch and guilt of having to own a designer handbag, especially in Malaysia, which is why I’ve never gotten any from the retail outlets here. It’s either a friend/family did me a favour, or I was there to shop for them myself.

But how often do you get such favours from friends/family, or the opportunity to travel? :(

Well, the wait is now OVER the moment I got to know of this site, so here I am, sharing my new found joy with you!! Not just the babes, but dudes as well because that site – Eranzi – caters for the men too!

Early birds promo: Eranzi is giving away RM 100 voucher just by signing up!

Eranzi is relatively new in town, but TRUST ME when I said I’m au naturale in bargain hunting! Bargain hunters’ hobby is to compare prices and get the best deal out of all the available options – and I totally did my homework!

I was really interested in what Eranzi has to offer because Eranzi houses so many of my favourite designer labels at a fraction of a retail price! Which, eventually led me to a meet up with the owner of Eranzi – Mabel, to find out more about Eranzi, as well as their current and future labels!

This is one limited edition GUCCI baby which is not even available in Malaysia! I’m eyeing on this already! ^.^

Eranzi offers cute little GUCCI merchandises too!

Eranzi even has designer labels which are affordable to graduates and young execs who are trendsetters, and very much in touch with the designer fashion world! MARC BY MARC JACOBS and SEE BY CHLOÉ are the two I love most!

PRADA!! Like OMG my current favourite designer label!!

I was thrilled when I heard Eranzi offers PRADA items and was sooo into by the bargain that .. I purchased a PRADA purse, right from their online site!

It’s pink, it’s chic, and it’s a damn good buy! I’m a happy girl!! :D

The main reason I decided to go for it (besides the great bargain Eranzi offers, of course) was the fact that they give ‘Money Back Guarantee’ on all their products’ condition, quality and authenticity! This gave me all the assurance I needed.

And when I knew how particular and fussy (in a good way) Mabel gets in handling the packaging, it’s a definite go! She personally makes sure all items sent out are well protected in layers and layers of pretty boxes!

Which makes it an obvious option for gifts and presents! *My birthday's in 6 month's time hint hint :D

An example of how their packaging is done, sent by a satisfied customer who thanked Eranzi on such awesome packaging. I was too excited I totally forgot to snap a pic of the packaging of my PRADA :|

PRADA wallet in a PRADA box;
PRADA box in an Eranzi signature box;
Eranzi signature box in a huge brown box, protecting the PRADA box, Eranzi signature box AND the PRADA item!

All secured, sealed and delivered via the reliable UPS Delivery System!

Eranzi has lots more to offer besides the above! Christian Dior, Salvatore Ferragamo, Burberry, Botega Veneta, and many more. The best part is, you can even suggest a brand to Eranzi to be brought in!!

Check their site out (CLICK HERE!) and follow their Facebook Page for the whole list of designer label Eranzi houses!

Eranzi is giving out cash credits of up to RM 2,000 to you, you and YOU! Simply share your personal style by submitting a photo of your best ensemble to Eranzi !! Yes, it's that easy!

Check out their Facebook Page or their online site for more info on the contest! Best of luck you guys!!

Don't know about you but I'll definitely be in the running for that cash credits! I want that limited edition GUCCI !! :(

Meanwhile, happy shopping with Eranzi !! I know I will! :)

Have you been in my shoes: Standing at a crossroad, not the slightest idea on which fork to follow through?

Who am I kidding. I'm 99.9% sure you've been in this situation. SO how do you weigh the pros and cons of your available options? What if both are somewhat equalized? :(

Just felt like getting all the nonsense out of my head. It's probably best not to be so competitive? Not to always aim to be ahead of people although it's actually a good trait but .. you know, we win and lose. And I don't like the feeling of defeat.

How? :(

The Secret Life of Nora, The Musical

I was at the premier of Datin Seri Tiara Jacqualina's latest hit play called The Secret Life of Nora at Istana Budaya. Alex and I collected our media passes at the venue itself, courtesy of

Datin Seri Tiara Jacqualina's kind of hot btw :D

Honestly? I was never a fan of local music productions but I've got to say, The Secret Life of Nora (and also Nasi Lemak 2.0) completely changed my perception on our local talents in music and art.

The Secret Life of Nora, Malaysia's first bilingual musical comedy set in the glamorous 1960s, tells a story about Nora (played by Datin Seri Tiara Jacqualina), who becomes a spy by accident to help uncover a mysterious evil plot, mastermind by a masked villain who holds a secret from her past. She falls in love with a dashingly handsome Roger (played by Ryan Silverman), a British agent-trainer who helps Nora in becoming an undercover spy she has never intended to be.

The plot was surprisingly enjoyable with hints of unforgettable humour every now and then. Music was catchy and addictive (which then makes it memorable) and well-performed by powerful vocalists Datin Seri Tiara Jacqualina. Roles by Datin, Ryan Silverman and especially Adibah Noor were unforgettable!

The Secret Life of Nora runs from 29 September all the way till 16 October at the Istana Budaya. I know you have your doubts but seriously, this is beyond my expectations. Give it a shot, grab the tickets at airasiaredtix and enjoy the musical with an open mind. Tickets are priced from RM 30 onwards.

The Secret Life of Nora is produced by Enfiniti Vision Media, the critically-acclaimed company that produced the award-winning Puteri Gunung Ledang the Musical and P. Ramlee the Musical.

Little Deeds Brighten Up My Day

A listening ear and helpful arm whenever I’m moody / down / PMS

When my needs and welfare are taken care of without me asking.

And when I’m always placed ahead.

I gave all these a thought when a friend surprised me with taufufah and soya drink on the night I had salad for dinner (had too much junk it’s creating harm to my complexion). I wasn’t hungry but I finished it all the same.

People tend to overlook all these as they keep up with the rush hour. I know I sometimes do. 2012 NY resolution: To be more attentive and sensitive and not be so occupied, mentally and physically.

P/S: Flexi hour’s the best thing that has happened to me, in the corporate aspect :D

Me, Fully Made-Up!

I recently had an interview with a journalist from The Star Publications on young adults' thoughts and dilemmas in sealing their first property deal.

I was then requested to submit a profile picture of myself. I started searching high and low for a high resolution, decent profile picture of myself. The kind which is suitable to be published in the local papers, if you know what I mean :))

So. After much digging, I stumbled upon this photo:

A snapshot of myself fully made-up, taken end of last year hehehe! Damn different right?? It's one definite rare sight because I almost never apply make-up (because I'm not good at it T.T)

LOL what do you think?? I won't get offended if you think I looked mid-30s but I'd definitely be on cloud nine if you think otherwise!! :)

Oktoberfest at One Utama!

Remember this post on the Malaysia's Own Oktoberfest at Ecoba?

Malaysia's Own Oktoberfest hits One Utama this weekend and on the first day, I was there with a few of my university friends, plus Alex. So I'm not gonna repeat the whole history of how Malaysia's Own Oktoberfest started or how it was celebrated, instead I'm gonna share some pictures to depict how happening it was compared to the one at Ecoba.

First of all, the performers were way entertaining and they engaged really well with the crowd. The lead singer even came up to our table, cheers with my friends using my stein and drank from it (0.o) Both Alex and I were stunned, thinking he's gonna go away with our drink lol!!

Secondly, the food was more appealing. I loved the bacon wrapped German sausage. Absolutely yummy and sinfullll!

And last but not least, the crowd was so into the whole Malaysia's Own Oktoberfest celebration it really lifted the mood and everyone was drinking merrily to celebrate German's favorite festival!

Enjoy the chicken dance moves recorded right from my camera! Be there at One Utama NAOOO because it's the last day of the Malaysia's Own Oktoberfest celebration there at One Utama!!

Just in case you can't make it to One Utama, fret not as there are more coming your way! Just remember to mark your calendar, throng the venue, drink to celebrate and celebrate drinking, whichever makes you merrier!! x

The BMW 335i Convertible

I do not know much about cars but just any girls would easily fall for coupes/convertibles, seriously. It's smaller than a sedan, cuter and way cooler. Imagine the sunnies with the roof down. Ahhh ~

Frontal view

<3 <3 <3

I'd prefer it to be chilli red though :) Enjoy the short clip on how the top collapse down! xx

Relationship Matters: The Boy & His Best Friend

Something I came across on Facebook. Interesting read. If only people can look at the positive side of things which matter most .. :)

Boy: I broke up with her.

His Best Friend: What happened?

Boy: She’s just too much for me.

His Best Friend: What makes you say that? What did she do wrong?

Boy: Well, for one.. She only cared about her appearance. Always had to look good, always took forever to get dressed! So insecure..

His Best Friend: So, you broke her heart because she wanted to keep your eyes locked on her? She wanted you to see that you have the prettiest girl under your sleeve and not think otherwise? I see..

Boy: Oh.. Well.. She’d often call me or text me asking where I am, who I’m with, telling me not to smoke, not to drink. She’s so clingy!

His Best Friend: So, you broke her heart because she cares about your well being? Because she cares about you a lot? And her greatest fear is losing you. I see..

Boy: But.. Uhh.. Well, she’d always cry when I say something slightly mean. She can’t handle anything. She’s a crybaby!

His Best Friend: So, you broke her heart because she has feelings? And because she just wanted to hear you say you love her? I see..

Boy: I.. Well! You know, she’d get jealous easily. I could barely talk to other girls! She’s so annoying! I had to hide it from her so she wouldn’t bitch about it.

His Best Friend: So, you broke her heart because she just wanted you to commit to her? She thought you were faithful, but you lied so she could find out later and hurt even more? She just wanted the guy she loves the most to love only her. I see..

Boy: Well, she..

His Best Friend: You broke up with her because she’s good for you? She just wanted the best for you? She’s broken now because you were selfish. Are you proud?

Boy: I broke her heart.. Because I couldn’t see what was happening.. What happened to me?

His Best Friend: You lost the girl that loved you like no one else could. You see? You didn’t want her when all she ever wanted was you. THAT’S what happened.

Think about it, when she’s too much for you.. She just wants the best for you. Because to her YOU’RE the best. If you don’t like something, talk to her about it. You mean so much to her. Don’t just give up. Don’t just leave because you want the easy way out.

But of course, this is an ideal situation. A girl/boy too clingy/paranoid isn't a good thing too :)
