Have you ever craved for simple yet delicious-mamalicious street food?
Alex was harping on how awesome the Seremban Beef Noodle aka Ngau Lam Mee (Stall #742), Pasar Besar Seremban was that one day we decided to drive an hour there and an hour back just for a simple lunch on a Saturday afternoon.

Useful fact: The wet market is located on the ground floor of Pasar Besar Seremban, while a huge food court is on the first floor, above the wet market.
We left pretty late cause I woke up almost noon so by the time we reached, there was little crowd, unlike the massive hoo-hah during lunchtime. Apparently the Hakka Mee at Tow Kee Hakka Mee (Stall located next to Stall #809) was really good too but it was closed when we got there :(
Reminder to self: Avoid late nights on Fridays!!
We found an empty table right in front of Stall #742 and ordered two regular bowls of Seremban Beef Noodle (RM 5 each). The one served here has been Alex's favourite, ever since his ex-boss brought him there many years ago.
I was expecting yellow mee/meehoon with tender beef slices in brownish soup, but instead it was laksa-like noodle with beef slices covered in thick, slick gravy sprinkled with peanuts and lots of sesame seeds (as shown). That was new!! At least to me!
I had my first mouthful and instantly liked it. The noodle was bouncy, beef was tender and the gravy was thick and full of flavour, which compliments the beef slices and did not overwhelm the juicy bit from the beef. Each bowl of noodle comes with a bowl of fragrant beef soup.
Alex had a second helping, with an extra large bowl of beef soup, compliments from the tauke. Nice chap!
